why are these available when the perk combo's are illegal the 🤬 is this 🤬, so heavy gets these amazing perk combo's whilst all the other weights get 🤬 on? AGS TROLLING?
35 m1 runs ? 1 chest 1 gloves 1 pants 3 heads 2 boots
45 M1 runs : 0 chest, 2 legs 3 feet 2 heads and 1 glove
30 runs (mostly m3's, 3-4 m1+m2's) and 2 pieces (2 gloves and a boot), either drop rate is low or i am unlucky.
Yes, upgrade recipe was added in todays patch. Nwdb did not update, yet.

Dropped the whole set in about 15 runs - 4 pieces from M3 1 piece from M2, I was lucky enough to get 3 (different) parts in 4 consecutive runs so I have the whole set now.

So far only seen it drop randomly from Glacial Tarn, 2 drops after 10 runs for 2 different people
Just a PSA for those who want to know more about base damage multipliers and stuff like that, a 4% base damage reduction from enchanted ward (and similar), with no other modifiers will be a 4% damage reduction, but when other modifiers come into play they will be worth less
The more you have the less value you get from it (diminishing returns but with more complex maths)

This set is decent at most. Both enchanted ward and elemental aversion only mitigates the base damage of the weapon not the total damage with empower buffs/ empower perks and the int tree damage bonus. Against the meta ranged weapons this does barely anything to help you. Better off running conditioning as it blocks the actual % of the damage it states. People complaining about the bb are mostly all light melee players crying why a shot gun is bursting their health. Maybe play medium or heavy? And don’t say that bb still 1 shots medium or heavy if it does you are not using the proper gems and defensive perks. I’ve seen so many medium and heavy players tanking the bb’s burst so cry more. Light melee in this meta is dead. If you are light melee you deserve to get deleted by any build.
anyone complaining about this set, is the reason this game sucks... this set is needed to counter the broken meta... AGS is completely unwilling to nerf the BB and firestaff properly, in fact from what I've heard there's another buff coming for both in season 4... so crying about a set like this, is not only an attempt to steer the game in the wrong direction but its the reason this game continues to fail... and the player count continues to drop... nobody wants to play an unbalanced game where low skill ceiling weapons do a crazy amount of damage for no reason... like the blunderbuss... IMO, the blunderbuss is an attempt to give bad players an edge but in fact its just a detriment to the entire game... I'm not saying remove it, all I'm saying is balance the game.. whether that comes in the form of nerfs to the BB or even illegal perk combos like this one... if AGS wants New World to succeed at this point they need to create a counter to the meta, which they did with this set... so if you don't like it maybe play another game and stop crying, you are literally the reason the game is dead...

Solid stuff for pve content, Nice to know day 1 gear can still be beaten. LEgit thought the inductor gear we crafted day 1 might be bis for a whole expansion. Though I get the pvp concerns (not sure what they do there) but for pve, this is much welcomed. Light+medium set pls
This thing will seriously 🤬 up the meta. Heavy is already the best armour load currently and lot of people use it in wars. This will just make it even stronger...
This set with Health on top of it would mean basic ranged elemental attacks (firestaff , BB, Bow artefact , etc. ) get their basedmg reduced alot. 42.5% to be exact. 22.5% from ele aversion and 20% from grid ward. So also basic attacks from all other weapons are taken down by 20%. Grav wells and all other ranged abilities are taken down 22.5% . And than you got gems to add on to this. Pretty solid set for a heavy loadout if you ask me.
This set is miles ahead of any other gear in the game. Everybody will play heavy if they are not already. Please dont let this go past PTR
